NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans Police want to locate a vehicle they say was used in an automobile burglary.

The incident happened May 1, around 2:48 p.m.

Police say the vehicle was used by three unknown people who broke into a white 2012 Ford F-250 in a parking lot behind the Ruby Slipper Restaurant in the 100 block of Cortez Street.

Investigators say the vehicle appears to be a maroon late model Jeep Compass with dark tinted windows and no license plate.

They also say that one of the suspects was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. He was seen on surveillance video exiting the Jeep and looking in car windows, then approaching the vehicle that was burglarized.
