NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

More fans will get a chance to get into formation with megastar Beyonce'.

Queen Bey added eight shows to the Formation World Tour due to demand. Among the added shows is a third New York area performance, along with a second L.A. gig. Also second shows have been added in Santa Clara, Calif., Houston, Atlanta, and Philadelphia, with a stop in New Orleans.

After Beyonce's many visits to New Orleans and constant use of the city's imagery, fans were upset she did not include a show in the first round of tour dates. The Formation World Tour will stop at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sept. 24.

Presale tickets started Thursday. General public tickets go on sale May 13.
