NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Gov. John Bel Edwards' signature makes a bill some people consider sexist the law.

Edwards signed HB 179 Friday, which allows hunters to wear "blaze pink" as an alternative to "hunter orange" during open gun hunting season.

According to our partners at Nola.com|The Times-Picayune, supporters say allowing "blaze pink" is good for high visibility. Some women hunters in Wisconsin complained the addition of blaze pink in that state was a sexist move.

Here's a rundown of other bills Gov. Edwards signed Friday:

HB 194: Provides for exemption of expungement fees in certain circumstances
HB 516: Provides relative to the Louisiana Aquatic Chelonian Research and Promotion Board
HB 523: Provides relative to the Dairy Industry Promotion Law
HB 588: Reduces the fee charged to the Department of Children and Family Services and district public defender's offices for each tax offset claim
HB 592: Provides with respect to the Agricultural Commodities Dealer and Warehouse Law
