Zephyrs rally past Round Rock

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The New Orleans Zephyrs scored a pair of seventh inning runs to rally past the Round Rock Express 3-2 to even the series.

Z's starter Kendry Flores worked six innings, allowed two runs on five hits and earned his first win of the season. Dustin McGowan pitched the final three innings for the save. 

Issac Galloway picked up two hits in the game including a lead off hit in the seventh.  Galloway scored on an Adrien Nieto fielders choice to tie the game.  Kenny Wilson snapped an 18-at bat hitless streak with a two out single to give the Zephyrs the lead. Gowan silenced the Express as the Zephyrs snapped their three-game losing skid.

The Zephyrs (14-14) are two games back of the first place Express (16-12).  The series continues on Sunday.
