Police need help finding stolen construction equipment

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -


The NOPD is asking for the public's help in locating a piece of stolen construction equipment.
 
according to police, about 3:30 p.m. on May 6, 2016, the victim says they saw the Skid Steer engine-powered loader prior to leaving work at the Sherwood Forest School construction site in the 4800 block of Maid Marion Drive in New Orleans East. When he returned the next day, the Skid Steer was missing from the construction site.

A photo of a Skid Steer similar to that of the vehicle stolen in in this incident is included below, along with the serial number of the actual vehicle stolen in this incident.
 
anyone with information about this incident or the whereabouts of the missing Skid Steer, is asked to call Seventh District detectives at 658-6070.
