Orleans coroner identifies two weekend shooting victims

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Orleans Parish Coroner Jeffrey Rouse has released the identification of two men shot to death over the weekend.

Jeffrey Derouselle, 38, was shot Friday night in front of an automotive repair shot in the 7800 block of Forshey Street.

According to initial NOPD reports, officers responded to the call around 10 p.m. and found Derouselle laying in the  driveway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The second victim, Travis Darries, 38 was shot in the 11000 block of Roger Drive about 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

NOPD offers were called to the scene where the found Derouselle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.
