NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The man who crashed his Lamborghini into a flood wall, killing a 23-year-old passenger will be charged with vehicular homicide, according to a New Orleans Police Department spokesman Tyler Gamble.
Jason Adams turned himself in at the Orleans Parish jail Tuesday morning.
Adams is accused of being behind the wheel of a 2015 Lamborghini when it crashed along the riverfront at Felicity Street just before midnight, killing 23-year-old Kristi Lirette.
Toxicology reports revealed Adams had a blood alcohol content of .11g% at the time of the crash. The legal blood alcohol limit in Louisiana 0.08%.
Adams is scheduled to have a bond hearing Tuesday at 3 p.m.
