METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) -

Hunter Renfroe and Alex Dickerson continued to torment the New Orleans Zephyrs, powering the El Paso Chihuahuas to a sweep of the four-game series with an 11-7 win on Tuesday afternoon at Southwest University Park.

Renfroe slugged a two-run homer in the first inning, his third consecutive game with a home run, to give the Chihuahuas an early lead. Dickerson, who went deep twice on Monday night, added a two-run shot of his own in the second inning.

The loss was the Zephyrs 7th in a row and 12 in the last 14-games. Following an off day Wednesday, the Zephyrs open a four-game set in Albuquerque on Thursday.
