After a solo home run from Kyle Bracey in the second inning, not much went the UNO Privateers’ way in a 17-3 loss, Tuesday, to UL-Lafayette.
Bracey tied the game at one, but the Ragin’ Cajuns stormed back with a six-run third inning, including four-run two-out rally. UL-Lafayette had 19 hits total against six different UNO pitchers.
The win improves the Ragin’ Cajuns to 31-19 on the season as the sweep both games this season from the Privateers. UNO falls to 30-21 overall.
The Privateers close the season with a series against Nicholls State beginning on Thursday.
