NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Saints are still looking to add to their wide receiver room. Sources have confirmed to FOX 8 Sports that the team worked out Hakeem Nicks and Vincent Brown on Wednesday.
ESPN's Adam Schefter also reported that Denarius Moore worked out for the club.
The Saints have 11 wide receivers on their roster with third-year pro Brandin Cooks being the most tenured. Adding a veteran presence could certainly benefit the group with Marques Colston gone.
Nicks, 28, has spent most of his career with the Giants and had back-to-back thousand yard seasons in 2010 and 2011. Brown, was taken in the third round by the Chargers. His best season was 2013 when he finished with 41 receptions for 472 yards.
