NOPD seeks public's help in finding missing man

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are asking for help in searching for a missing man.

Sean Johnson, 24, was last seen May 23 leaving a friend's house on Tupelo Street shortly after 11 p.m.

He was driving his girlfriend's silver 2011 Toyota Camry with a temporary Louisiana license plate. Johnson has not been seen or heard from since.

The following morning, around 10:45 a.m., the Camry was found abandoned at the intersection of Mandeville and North Rocheblave streets with the keys in the ignition.

Johnson is described as being approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 175 pounds. He has a short fade haircut with a short Mohawk, and a tattoo of a cross in the center of his brow.

He was last seen wearing a turquoise shirt with light blue jeans and a Miami Dolphins hat.
