NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Court documents obtained by FOX 8 reveal new information in the case against the man accused of killing former Saints player Will Smith.

A list of the evidence turned over by District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro's office to Cardell Hayes' attorney shows 49 pieces of evidence.

It includes 11 surveillance videos from both Magazine Street and Sophie Wright taken on the night of April 9, 2016.

There are also search warrants for three cell phones, the three vehicles involved in the crash that led up to the shooting as well as statements from Cardell Hayes and Coroner Jeffery Rouse.

Hayes is indicted for the second degree murder of Smith and the attempted murder of Smith's wife, Racquel.

The next hearing in this case is set for June 1, 2016.
