JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) - One man had been arrested and two others are being sought in connection with the fatal shooting Monday of a man in Harvey, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.
Charlie George, 28, of Alex Kornman Drive, was booked with one count of second-degree murder in the death of 29-year-old Chad Miller. Miller's was found at about 6:20 p.m. Monday outside his apartment on Lac Bienville. Detectives recovered three AK-47 shell casings and a .380 casing at the scene.
Second-degree murder warrants have also been issued David Foster, 17, of N. Claiborne Ave. in New Orleans. Foster turned himself in late Friday evening. Jeremy "Jay" Ratliff, 20, of Piety St. in New Orleans, remains at large.
The Sheriff's Office said investigators have yet to establish a motive in Miller's death, but they believe that drugs may have played a role.
