Tulane baseball (39-19) now have their postseason plans. As a two-seed, the Green Wave will travel to Oxford, MS, to compete with top-seeded Ole Miss, three-seeded Boston College and four-seeded Utah.

The Greenies will open Friday at 3 pm and against Boston College. If they win the Oxford regional, they would advance to face the winner of the Miami regional. This marks the second consecutive NCAA tournament for Tulane and second-year head coach David Pierce. Pierce acknowledged the growth in his program.

"They were in last year as a three-seed, as a fingers-crossed making sure we get in bubble-type team. This year we were talking about hosting. We didn't quite make that goal but we felt pretty comfortable that we were a solid two," Pierce said. "That in of itself gives us so much confidence because we've played some really good schools and some big schools. So, we're not going to be intimidated by going to Oxford, Mississippi."
