NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans Police arrested a man suspected of holding up the same store twice in two hours Sunday morning.
Investigators booked Daniel Means with two counts of armed robbery.
Police say a masked gunman held up the the Brothers Food Mart at 5104 St. Claude Avenue at 2:16 a.m. May 29.
At 4:09 a.m., the same gunman returned and once again pulled a gun on the cashier and demanded money.
But, this time, police say the cashier pulled his own weapon and fired at the robber.
No one was injured and the robber ran from the store.
Fifth District Detectives say Means confessed to committing both armed robberies after his arrest.
