NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - When cyclists participating in Get Up and Ride Bike Night roll through local neighborhoods, a continuous stream of dazzling neon lights becomes a familiar sight. Cyclists gather for the weekly meet up every Tuesday at the Hi Ho Lounge around 7:30 p.m.
The three-hour ride starting in the Marigny journeys to the Superdome, then makes a return trip with pit stops along the way.

"Just jump in," one participant explains in the video.
The music-guided, social bike ride is free. Just come along with your bike. If you don't own your own bike, the group already suggests a place to rent on the Nola Social Ride page. In addition to the weekly Tuesday night ride, the page also features other social ride events for cyclists to join.
