NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Before news broke of Hau Oli Kikaha's injury, the Saints had a concern with their pass rush. Now that Kikaha is done for the year, that concern is a genuine problem.

The Saints didn't address pass rusher in the draft or free agency and had high hopes for Kikaha in his second year. He was done experimenting with strongside linebacker and was strictly going to play the edge.

Internally, Davis Tull, Kasim Edebali and Obum Gwacham will get their chance to take over. Gwacham got the first team reps Thursday. They could also look to a veteran. Someone like Dwight Freeney would make sense.

Either way, a big hole on the Saints' roster just got bigger. They'll have to work quickly to get it filled.
