NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A group of burglars convinced a man they were NOPD officers to get into his home Friday night.
According to a preliminary report from NOPD, an unspecified number of burglars knocked on a door in the 5100 block of Bundy Road around 10 p.m. on June 10. When the 35-year-old resident answered, the burglars allegedly told him they were NOPD officers. However, when the 35-year-old let them inside, one of the burglars put a gun to his face.
The burglars forced the man to lay on the ground before stealing cash from his wallet and taking a broken pellet gun from the house.
