NOPD seeks public's help in search of missing man

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

New Orleans police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man.

Timothy Womac, 27, was last seen on June 12 (Sunday) around 7 p.m. in the 800 block of Bourbon Street.

Womac, who lives in the area, texted a friend around 8:30 p.m. that night saying he was heading out to get something to eat. He has not responded to any other messages or phone calls since.

Womac is described as being 5’8" tall, weighing 155 pounds with brown eyes. He has short blonde hair with shaved sides and was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, black jean shorts, and black sandals.

He has been prescribed medication for bipolar disorder.

Anyone with information about Womac’s whereabouts, is urged to call any Eighth District detective at 658-6080.
