Three Mississippi residents arrested for Washington Parish burglaries

WASHINGTON PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

Two men and one woman from Mississippi are accused in a string of home burglaries in Washington Parish, according to initial police reports.

Arrested were:

  • Fredrick Brown, 29, a resident of Magee Hill Road in Tylertown, Alexzandra
  •  Weary Brown, 24, a resident of Kirkland Road in Tylertown
  • Calvin B. Guy, 27, a resident of Knoxo Road in Tylertown.

On June 2 and June 6, Washington Parish detectives investigated residential burglaries on J. Warren Road and Highway 38 in the Hackley community.

As the investigation moved forward, parish residents came forward with vehicle descriptions and physical descriptions of the suspects.

After the investigation, the three were arrested and found with pictures of the stolen property and evidence of their activity on their cell phones.

The trio are in the Washington Parish jail facing charges of burglaries committed in the parish.

The charges are as follows:

Fredrick Brown is in jail with bond set at $7,500. He is charged with:

  • Possession of Stolen Property
  • Simple Burglary
  • Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling
  • Theft
  • Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm
  • Criminal Damage to Property

Alexzandra Weary Brown is in jail with bond set at $5,000. She is charged with:

  • Simple Burglary
  • Principal to Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling
  • Principal to Attempted Theft

Calvin B. Guy is in jail with bond set at $116,600. He is charged with:

  • Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling
  • Theft
  • Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm
  • Criminal Damage to Property
  • Two counts of Failure to Appear
