Tulane's Jake Rogers signs with Houston Astros

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Tulane baseball player Jake Rogers is officially a Houston Astro, signing his contract Wednesday after agreeing to terms.

Rogers was the Major League Drafts' 97th over-all pick and he gives Houston a much-needed defensive minded back-stop, having thrown out nearly 75-

percent of the runners that attempted to steal a base on him in college.
