LABADIEVILLE, LA (WVUE) - A routine traffic stop led to a drug arrest in Assumption Parish. Assumption Parish Narcotics agents said they found drugs in a vehicle after a traffic stop.
According to the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies stopped a silver Mitsubishi Galant after watching it cross the center line on Highway 398 in Labadieville around 10 p.m. on June 16. They said the driver was Teddy Boudoin, 41, Palm Street, Vacherie.
Agents said during a search of the vehicle, they found approximately 92 grams of marijuana and an open can of beer.
Boudoin was transported to the detention center in Napoleonville and booked with driving on a roadway laned for traffic, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
