NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police have arrested a man for spray painting multiple NOPD units and the NOPD's Fifth District Police Station building. The incident occurred Saturday around 4:40 p.m. at the station located in the 3900 block of North Claiborne Avenue.
Police say that a man, identified as 32-year-old Marvin Hargrove, walked into the station and became upset over something. Afterwards he spray painted a number of NOPD police units as well as the station building.
He was taken into custody and charged with 11 counts of simple criminal damage. Police say that of the 11 charges, seven were for vandalizing the units and four were four vandalizing the building.
