NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are investigating an argument that turned violent when one man was slashed in the leg.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred near the intersection of Belleville and Newton Streets just around 2:15 a.m.
The victim, a 27-year-old man, was approached from behind by a suspect and an argument began.
The suspect pulled out a knife and when the victim tried to kick him he was cut on the left thigh.
The victim was brought to Ochsner Westbank by private conveyance.
