BAYOU L'OURSE, LA (WVUE) - Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon said deputies arrested Tommy E. Lishman, 47, Aristile Road, Bayou L'ourse, after reports of a potential child molestation.
Deputies said it happened Sunday. A Good Samaritan reported the child was molested by Lishman.
Deputies said through the course of the investigation, it was learned the child was inappropriately touched on more than one occasion by Lishman. On Tuesday, Lishman was interviewed by detectives, at which time he admitted to having inappropriately touched the six-year-old at a residence in Bayou L'Ourse, according to investigators.
Deputies said they arrested Lishman and transported to the detention center in Napoleonville. Lishman was booked with molestation of a juvenile.
