New Orleans police seek tips in Central City auto theft

NEW IBERIA, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans Police are looking for a suspect in a Central City auto theft.

Investigators say on June 26, 2016 at approximately 3:15 a.m an unknown black male was observed taking a tan 2016 Lexus SUV with a temporary Louisiana license plate from the 1900 block of General Pershing Street. 

Approximately three hours later, the suspect parked the stolen SUV in the 1600 block of Conary Street. He then photographed the stolen SUV and fled the scene.
