NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Our countdown begins with our lone special teamer, punter Thomas Morstead. Last year was tough for Morstead as he injured his quad and missed two games for the first time in his career. His 45.6 yard average was the second lowest total of his career. The injury prevented him from handling his normal kickoff duties as well.
However, going into his eighth season, Morstead is now close to full strength. When healthy, he is one of the best punters in game. The Saints will once again count on his ability to flip the field for their defense. Plus, there's always the possibility he returns to kickoffs where touchbacks were prevalent in years past.
