RESERVE, LA (WVUE) -

Traffic was snarled in a part of Reserve Monday after an 18-wheeler turned off road.

St. John deputies said the driver turned too sharply off West Airline Highway onto Northwest Third Street just after 9 a.m. on June 27.

Investigators said the driver, who was cited for careless operation, rolled into a ditch and spilled his cargo. No one was hurt and no other vehicles were involved.

Deputies couldn’t tell us what the truck was hauling, but said it was not hazardous.
