NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The severe thunderstorm warnings issued for multiple Louisiana parishes have expired.
The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Tangipahoa Parish, Livingston Parish and St. Helena Parish just after 6:30 p.m. on June 27.
Severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Wilmer to Roseland, moving South at 15 mph, according to the NWS. These storms could produce 60 mph wind gusts and quarter sized hail.
The warnings expired at 7:15 p.m. as expected.
