(WVUE) - As a front approaches the area, showers and storms will be more likely today. Heavy downpours will be possible and could lead to localized street flooding.
Highs will range from the upper 80s to mid 90s and are highly dependent on cloud cover and rain during the day. Overnight, the rain chances will lower and temperatures will drop to the mid 70s.
Tomorrow, as the front sags south, the area could still see some showers and storms in the area especially during peak heating hours.
By Thursday, just stray storms will be possible as we transition to a high pressure weather pattern.
Temperatures will rise through the 4th of July weekend making for very hot conditions.
