It looks like we will have another day of slightly above normal rain chances. By Friday our rain chances will be reduced to just spotty storms through the holiday weekend. It will be mostly hot and dry but pop up storms can't be ruled out into Monday.
As we move into the rest of next week, the heat will continue to build with highs well into the middle and possibly upper 90's with little to no rain.
All in all pretty typical summertime weather for Southeast Louisiana as we head into July.
The tropics are quiet with no development expected in the next 5 days.
