Police identify man wanted in Broadmoor double homicide

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police have identified a suspect in a Broadmoor fatal shooting that left two men dead. The incident occurred on May 30, 2016 in the 3300 block of General Taylor. The suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Winston Jackson.

Police say that responding officers arrived on scene to find a black man lying on the front porch of a house and another black man lying on the floor inside the house. Both were pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators were able to identify Jackson as a suspect in the incident and obtained an arrest warrant.

According to police, Jackson's last known address was in the 1600 block of Caton Street in New Orleans and he is known to hang out in the Marrero Commons Housing Complex as well as Louisiana Avenue.
