NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Don't feel so bad the next time you incorporate a little extra butter into your meal.
Tufts University researchers say they've discovered butter is not linked to heart disease.
They analyzed data of more than 600,000 people across 15 countries. They found no association between the consumption of butter and cardio-vascular disease.
The researchers note butter should not be considered a health food. You can read more about the study in PLOS ONE.
