Ranking the Saints: #17 Stephone Anthony

(WVUE) -

His rookie year had some big moments. Stephone Anthony led the team in tackles, picked off a pass, returned a fumble for a touchdown and even made history by becoming the first player ever to return a blocked extra point for two points.

However, while he made some big plays, he was inconsistent at middle linebacker where he was in charge of making all the call and getting his teammates lined up. Thus, the Saints made the decision to shift him to the strongside and have James Laurinaitis man the middle. The hope is Anthony's altheticism will be better suited at a position that places a premium on aggression and make the defense better overall.
