NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The NOPD is investigating two break-ins at a South Claiborne business by the same suspect.

Surveillance video shows the suspect squeezing his way through security bars located at the front of the store.

Shortly before 5 a.m. on June 30, a male suspect broke into the City Gear clothing store in the 2800 block of South Claiborne Avenue.

The suspect can be seen smashing the glass in the front door then crawling through a space between the door’s metal bars.

Upon entering the business, he grabbed several clothing items and then left the store with the stolen merchandise. He then fled on foot.

The same man returned the next day at approximately 4:54 a.m. He entered the business the same way, breaking the front door glass and climbing through the metal bars.

He took more clothing and fled the scene on foot.

Watch the surveillance video.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this subject or his whereabouts, are asked to call  the Sixth District Investigative Unit at 658-6060.
