HAMMOND, LA (WVUE) -

LSU's loss is once again Southeastern's gain. Linebacker Sione Teuhema has transferred to the Lions' program and will wear No. 18.
Teuhema missed the spring season due to a suspension which was never lifted by Tiger Coach Les Miles.

Teuhema is the older brother of LSU offensive lineman Maea Teuhema. The pair came to LSU from Keller (Texas) a year apart. Sione Teuhema was an Army All-American selection and a consensus three-star recruit.

The 6-foot-4, 260-pound Teuhema played in seven games last year and finished with 13 tackles, two for a loss and one quarterback hurry. In 2014 as a freshman, he finished with seven stops and had two sacks against Sam Houston State.
