KENNER, LA (WVUE) -

Raising Cane's Restaurant in Kenner reopened Wednesday after slain shift manager Taylor Friloux was laid to rest.

Friloux, 21, was stabbed to death June 29 as she was taking out the trash through a back door.

Kenner Police have arrested five people in the case.

Family and friends gathered Tuesday for Friloux's funeral at the Garden of Memories in Metairie.

The restaurant had been closed since the murder.

A spokesperson for Raising Cane's released a statement Wednesday saying, "Our Kenner restaurant has reopened. As we work to move forward, we are appreciative of the outpouring of support from the community. We are grateful for the efforts of the Kenner Police Depart and all law enforcement involved. Now that all suspects are in custody, we are focused on the well-being of our Crew and we will continue to work with Taylor’s family to honor her memory."
