LAFOURCHE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - A Galliano woman was arrested Tuesday after the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office received complaints about possible drug activity at her home, according to Sheriff Craig Webre.
Lacy Nelson, 35, was wanted on active contempt of court warrants and a warrant for Louisiana Probation and Parole.
Task Force Agents and agents with Probation and Parole found Nelson at her home and arrested her without incident.
Agents said they found Nelson in possession of approximately 4 grams of suspected methamphetamine, as well as small amounts of cocaine, Xanax, Hydrocodone and drug paraphernalia.
Nelson was jailed at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux on two active contempt warrants, as well as possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of cocaine, Xanax, Hydrocodone and drug paraphernalia. She is being held on a $85,500 bond, and she is also being held for Louisiana Probation and Parole.
