NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Police have made an arrest in a Central City home burglary.

According to an NOPD release, the burglary happened on July 4 at about 12:35 p.m. in the 4400 block of First Street.

Investigators say neighborhood surveillance video shows two black males exiting an SUV parked across the street from a home on First Street. One of the males then jumped the home's fence and handed several stolen items to the second male on the other side of the fence. The two then fled the scene in the SUV.

Investigators later identified the males as 34-year-old Randy Holmes and 32-year-old Alfred Holmes. Randy Holmes was arrested and charged with simple burglary on July 6. Alfred Holmes is still at large.

Anyone with information that can help police find Alfred Holmes is asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
