NOPD investigates Gentilly homicide

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Gentilly. 

Police said they were called to the 2600 block of Jasmine Street Thursday shortly before 3 p.m.. 

When officers arrived, police said they found a man inside a home shot multiple times in the leg and the chest. 

He was rushed to the hospital and later died.
