FOX 8 wins big at The New Orleans Press Club annual awards

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

FOX 8 takes home a number of first place honors at The New Orleans Press Club annual awards banquet Saturday night. The voice of the saints, Jim Henderson, took home first place honors for best sports show with his "Black and Gold Breakdown". Sean Fazende won best sports feature for "Fourcade family map". Video journalist Kia Callia claimed top honors for best sports action videography for "Running bear boxing".

Video journalist Matt Gosciminski takes home first place honors for "St. Bernard oysterman" and Dave McNamara wins first place honors for best photo essay for his "Heart of Louisiana: Nature Photographer".

Investigative journalist and anchor Lee Zurik wins two first place honors for best governmental political feature for his "Jindal's Presidential Run" and best public affairs feature for "Billion Dollar Blueprint".
