A typical summer pattern is locking in throughout most of the work week. Late morning and afternoon storms will be the rule. This will help knock temperatures down for those that see rain. Highs will likely range from the upper 80's to mid 90's. Overnight, rain will subside and temperatures will fall to the mid to upper 70's.
Keep the umbrella handy, as similar conditions are expected through the rest of the week. A gradual drop in rain chances will occur by the weekend and allow many spots to heat up to the mid 90's, but still plan for the possibility of pop up storms.
The Atlantic tropics remain quiet with no development expected in the next five days.
