NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

A New Orleans Civil Court clears the way for developers to get started on work to transform the former World Trade Center building into a Four Seasons hotel.

Judge Tiffany Chase dismissed TCSI's suit against the New Orleans Building Corporation and the city and canceled the Notice of Pendency which had blocked construction.

In an e-mail, a spokesman says the Four Seasons development team is pleased by the dismissal of what it describes as "baseless litigation."

Stuart Fisher filed the suit after purchasing Two Canal Street Investors which lost out in the competition for the rights to redevelop the building.
