BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) -

LSU's one-two punch on the mound will remain in tact for next season now that Jared Poche's decided to return to Baton Rouge for his senior season.

Poche shut down negotiations with San Diego recently. He was their 14th round pick but has made an to about-face to LSU.

In each of his three seasons with the Tigers, Poche's won 9-games. He's the only LSU pitcher to ever do that.

He announced his return on twitter saying "One last ride along with my brothers and tiger nation to win the natty."
