NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - A source tells FOX 8 that a former St. Bernard Parish deputy will plead guilty Friday (July 15)  in connection with the Darren Sharper rape and drug case.

Brandon Licciardi was charged with witness tampering, obstructing a federal grand jury, and conspiring to distribute illegal and prescription drugs with the intent to commit rape.

Jury selection in Licciardi's trial began Monday.
