We should have another active day of storms on Saturday. However, the pattern will slowly change beginning on Sunday to fewer storms and hotter temperatures.
While it won't be as stormy on Sunday, there will still be a fair amount of activity - but don't expect all-day rain.
The temperatures will continue to rise on Monday into most of next week. Widespread mid-90s can be expected except near the water. Further inland some spots could approach 100 degrees.
A change to more storms may occur by next Friday, but that's a long way when forecasting summer storms!
The Atlantic tropics remain quiet with no development expected in the next five days.
