NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The cast of the popular FOX hit drama "Rosewood" recently came to New Orleans for Essence Festival. While here, they stopped by the FOX 8 studio to give us a sneak peek at what's ahead for season two.
Actor Morris Chestnut plays Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, a private pathologist who's in high demand with law enforcement, especially Detective Annalise Villa, played by Jaina Lee Ortiz.
"This year, season two will be airing on Thursdays at 8 p.m. We have a lot in store," Chestnut said. "We have to figure out what happened to Detective Villa's husband, so we get to go to New York, solve some cases there. My momma is seeing a convict, so we gotta figure out what that's about."
Chestnut talked about a new cast-member, Brian Austin Green.
"He's a mysterious, by-the-book captain. We're gonna have a lot of fun," Chestnut said.
The series - part drama, part comedy and part mystery - is set in Miami, but the crew revealed what they like most about this city.
"My favorite thing is just relax and take in the whole New Orleans flavor," Chestnut said.
