NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

New Orleans police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect they think robbed a Pizza Hut on Crowder Boulevard.

On Saturday at approximately 1:30 a.m., a suspect, described as a black male, entered the restaurant behind an employee returning from taking out the trash.

The perpetrator told the employees to put the money from the cash register into a black bag and they complied.

The perpetrator is described as a black male, approximately five-feet-five inches to five-feet-six inches tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black chef pants, black and red socks, white gloves, and a white baseball hat.

He was also wearing sunglasses and an American flag bandana that covered his face. The victims said the man had a black handgun.

Anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Detective Shonndell Fields or any Seventh District detective at 658-6070.
