We are expecting less rain coverage over the next few days as high pressure settles back across the area. It might not be completely dry but a shower or storm will be pretty hard to come by.
Highs will reach the mid-to-even upper 90's well inland. All the moisture will allow heat index values to climb to the triple digits in most areas. Heat advisories may be necessary by the end of the week with the humidity making it feel like 105-110 degrees.
By the weekend, the heat bubble will break down allowing for storm coverage to gradually return to normal. The trend will continue into next week giving us a break from the extra hot weather.
The Atlantic tropics remain quiet with no development expected in the next five days.
