(WVUE) - Thousands of children's water bottles sold exclusively at L.L.Bean were recalled because the lead solder at the base contains high levels of lead.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said the recall involved five styles of 13.5-ounce bottles. They were sold between July 2015 and May 2016 at L.L. Bean retail stores and through the company's website. The recalled bottles have a sticker on the bottom with the numbers 297684 printed on it.
Customers can contact L.L. Bean at 800-555-9717 for a refund and instructions for returning the recalled bottles.
